Airport shuttle FCO into Rome---friendly, affordable, safe I highly recommend World-airport-transfer.com for affordable (about 15 euros), safe and interesting transportation from FCO airport to central Rome. A solo female traveller, I arrived in the middle of the night, after train service had ended, and did not want to get swindled by a taxi driver (careful-- they will try), especially after traveling 26 hours across 10 time zones. A World-airport-transfer driver met me at baggage claim right on time, and the friendly driver gave a guided tour of Rome on the way to the hotel. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his hometown. This was a great way to start my vacation!
