A clean comfortable rather old fashioned hotel. Rather a long way out from the main sights as we found out during a very hot five days in June. Is ideal for those wanting to stay in Rome but a little away from the tourist throng. No restaurant in the hotel and not very many restaurants nearby but a 15 minute walk toward the Vatican and there is a little more choice. The Staff were helpful and forgiving of my poor Italian and I would happily recommend this hotel. As honeymooners we were furnished with a large room and a large private roof terrace with sun lounger etc for no extra cost - the hotel also kindly provided a free bottle of Champagne for our arrival. Overall, a good value for money, comfortable and quiet hotel. Next time we go to Rome though we may choose somewhere in the centre however as we feel we missed out on the nightlife a bit and spent too much time satnding at metro stations and trudging the hot streets to get around!
