Room rubbish, broken furniture, cramped shower/toilet. Too much noise from trains and trams at all hours. Breakfast rubbish. No coffee, (machine broken), juice machine useless, rolls part frozen.

Top Local Tips for Rome

Bus Tours I would advise anyone to use an open top bus tour (weather permitting). They are very good value and you get some excellent photographs.

Things to do, dining info, getting around For a great experience, see the Vatican and make certain you get a tour of this with guide. Enjoyed the Trevi fountain, Colleseum, all the ruins, Campo Di Fiore, the Spanish Steps, all the churches, etc. Dining: Restaurant del Pallaro, great mom and pop restaurant. It's mentioned in Frommers, under best dining bets, under best value. It is in Largo del Pallaro. phone is 06-68801488. There is a lot of food, the quality is very good, the experience is great and very authentic. 22 euros for prixe fixed. Departing, pre arranged airport transfers are good, and a train will also take you to the airport. Taxi's are expensive, metro and buses are good.
