Excellent Place to Stay

This Hotel was wonderful. We arrived hot and tired from our long trip from the States and Leonardo was there to greet us and make us feel welcome. He was very helpful with all our requests, even suggesting a department store close by, and really helped out in attempting to locate our missing luggage. The hotel is located close to the subway and a short walk to the Vatican. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. It was nice for a family, including a 2 yr old. We would stay there again!

Great base for Rome

Great little hotel. The location is perfect, being just a short walk from the Vatican and a Metro. Its is a doddle to get to and from Fiumicino airport and everything you want to see is either a short walk or a few stops away on the Metro. The hotel remarkably looks as per the photos - and it is spotlessly clean. I paid a few sheckles more and booked a double room for single occupancy. Upon check-in, because this is the low season, I even got an upgrade to a superior double room at no extra cost. The staff I found to be very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast is a tad basic (rolls, cake, croisants, tea, coffee + juice), but it fills a gap till lunch. Some decent shopping to be done nearby (clothes shops etc) and good restaurants behind the hotel. On the negative side - not much really. The lift is a pain. If a previous user on another floor doesn't close the doors, it just stays there. (It happened twice). But I'd recommend this hotel to any-one wanting a nice, good value,...... Read more
