Absolutely Excellent!!
from SailmakerReally good first impression of the hotel when we arrived, julio took our luggage to our room and the concierge kindly showed us on a map where we were and the main attractions.
The Rooms were perfect, Nice and Clean, Perfect size, nice bathroom with tub. Minibar, and tv with skynews and bbcworld. All you can ask for. There is even an elevator so you dont have to take the steps after a long day of walking.
The public areas are really beautifully renovated and just finished, with a nice and cosy atmosphere. Nice furnitures aswell.
The breakfast area is really beautiful aswell, also just renovated, with comfy chairs.
The Breakfast... you dont get it any better in Rome. Perfect! All you need. To types of bread, the, coffee, cheese, ham, jam, honey, to types of yougurt, and fruit. And a little detail... you boil your own egg..so you get it just like you want it. Nice! Cold milk, Warm Milk, different kind of juice.... i could go on.
The Location.
Do i have to mention it. Its PERFECT! Located in a little street in the middle of everything. You can walk to it all. Phanteon 3-4 min. Spanish steps 5-10 min and so on.... We didnt use any transportation at all other than our feet.
And there is restaurants, shops and all the things u need just around the corner.
All in all a perfect stay. And i would definitely recommend it to everyone who visit Rome.
I booked it through Hotelconnect and got 3 nights for 2 nights price. Worked Perfectly! Would Recommend.
Another thing. If you dont want the hazzle of argueing with cap drivers or take the bus and metro to get to your hotel from the airport.
you book it throug their website and u dont pay upfront. They pick u up at the airport and take u straight to ur hotel, for just 35 Euros.
Taxis are 40 euros and the hotel offered me a pick up for 55 euros. So the deal is the cheapest.
I booked a return and they where right on time both times. Nice drivers aswell and nice cars. Mercedes.
Hope this was usefull.
Have a nice stay

For verification check the guestbook at the hotel :o)
PS: Its says 3 star, but our guidebook rate it 4 star! And so would we!
s a dream: Great location, lovely hotel, brilliant value
from MazRAll in all a top place in the most ridiculously photogenic place I have ever seen. Divine indeed.
Good 3 star Hotel, great location!
from McFluteWe found the hotel well-run, comfortable, clean, with an excellent choice of food at breakfast and being located extremely conveniently to access most of the city on foot. Throughout our stay we easily walked to whatever we wished to see, without the need to use public transport. Of course half the pleasure is to walk around such a fascinating city as Rome...and knowing that you can return to a pleasant hotel to rest-up until the next day's exertions makes a big difference!
Location Location Location, lovely hotel, excellent price
from gracietoDCBIG PLUS WITH THIS HOTEL! the location. 5 mins walk to Piazza Navona and Pantheon, 10 mins walk to Spanish Steps and 15 mins to the Vatican (if that). Honestly you can walk EVERYWHERE from here! Its also very quiet tucked away from the busy and noisy main roads, which was also a HUGE plus point (rome streets, not the quietest!). Oh and metered taxi price from/to Termini Station 11 euro's. DONT GET RIPPED OFF!
Great location, great value for the money
from TnKarenLeeBreakfasts were very acceptable with rolls, meats, cheeses, eggs, and fruit (although canned). Very nice breakfast rooms.
The location was indeed the selling feature for us! It is located within walking distance of EVERYTHING. We did take a taxi to the Vatican because we had a full day planned. They were easily accessible.
The staff is very good about responding to emails and I would highly recommend using this form of communication.
Great Location

from A TripAdvisor MemberWondeful Stay
from A TripAdvisor MemberFrom reading previous reviews I think they must have sorted out breakfast which was pefectly adequate and in a very nice room.
All hotel staff very helpful and friendly and happy to help us book a taxi back to the airport. Very good restaurant just around the corner of the hotel, Rome's first Mozzarella Bar which has a great atmosphere and lovely food.
A note of caution about taxi's from Rome's Fiumicino aiport. My mother and I were ripped off by an unscrupulous taxi driver who charged us 80 Euros to take us to Rome when the going rate is apparently 50 Euros. Check with the airport information desk to direct you to a proper taxi rank or try and pre book a taxi from the hotel! Much safer.
Apart from that had a wonderful time and hope to go back soon.
Great Hotel in fantastic location
from A TripAdvisor MemberBecause I was desperate and ignorant!
from A TripAdvisor MemberThe cab driver was stunned when I gave him the address, the hotel being on a back water street near La Piazza de la Portuguese. We found it and my excitement grew as we drove from DaVinci and passed the form and collodeum, etc. We arrived and my excitement was still on the up. The hotel is on a tiny street, but with a surprising amount of foot traffic, especially at night. Check in was great, friendly staff person checked me in and I was asked if I needed assistance to room but chose to do it on my own. I entered an elevator the size of a typical American bathroom stall but managed to fit my 2 bags, overnighter and backpack with me and went to my floor, the first (Italian style). Then I found my room and my excitement dropped from a 10 to about a 2. The room had a single bed made for a midget. Although I know the Italians are a short group, this bed was even small for one of them. My luggage took up half the room; I could not manage to unpack because of the awkwardness of it. The bathroom was of equal size to the remainder of my room, which had a TV (no sat.), a minifridge and....uh...........nothing else. The bathroom was the highlight being spacious for a John and clean, which the hotel was as well. Excitement escalated again when I immediately went out of my shoebox and saw what the hotel was surrounded by; The Spanish Steps, La Piazza Navona, The Pantheon. Everything was of walking distance. This was the biggest plus. I am a walker and do so without map and keep a refernce guide in bag so if I end up someplace marvelous, I can look it up to dee what it is and its history. Highlight was finding a chucrch behind the Pantheon called La Chiesa di Santa Maria Sopra La Minerva. Exquiste. The inviting, small piazza in front has a marble elephant dated 5oo years ago with an obelisk from Egypt, 700 BC. The church, built on the old Temple to Minerva was so beautiful with the tomb of St. Catherine (Patron of Italy, Europe and Dr. of the Church) in front. Ceiling was of midnight blue with gold stars adorning it. I went back recently in my 10 day trip and had my rosaries, etc., blessed by the Monsiegnur.
In short, trip was great.......hotel was satisfactory. I would go back if promised a bigger room. Housekeeping was exceedingly friendly, especially when they realized I spoke Italian. Not worth what I paid, but what is to be expected when you get off a plane without a reservation at 5PM at night. There was an incident that made me lose a day and the hotel caused, but that is another story.
Size of the room may not have been such a downer had I didn't have cancer and after about 5 hours of walking and then a leisurely lunch, had to go back to room to rest for several hours. More time spent in the hotel than is the norm. I will give it that as an excuse to not make it sound so bad. A 3 star is what I would imagine it to be and I WOULD recommend it........just ask for a renovated room and pay for a double even if it is a bit more.! Bon Viaggo!
Top Local Tips for Rome
Great Restaurant close to hotel Visit Recafe near Augustus' tomb. It is a hip new restaurant with fabulous reasonably priced food.
Watching the world go by Piazza Navona is a must to sit and eat/drink at night and watch the world go by with artisans in the central piazza and a wonderful atmosphere
arriving late If your like us and arrive at this hotel after half ten in the evening there is a gorgeous little bar/restaurant about 30 meteres away from the Adriano called the Mozarella bar it has a really tasty and quite reasonable menu and a does really nice bottle of shiraz for 15 euro's. Its ideal to grab something before you hit the sack or go out.
