The staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our stay there the best holiday we have ever had, food was brilliant, rooms were comfortable, nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely stay there again, thanks again to management and staff.

Brilliant Hotel - staff couldn't do enough for us - we loved it. Rooms were comfortable, we had a (kind of!) lake view - there is a street in front of hotel before the lake. About a 15/20 minute walk to Riva for ferries but a lovely walk along the lake. Food at hotel was excellent. We'd go back and would definitely recommend

Top Local Tips for Riva del Garda

ferries ferries are great way to visit other resorts on the lake, buy a day rover ticket.

Tours While you're there Verona is well worth a visit (about an hour and a half by coach). Also, Venice is worth a visit but we were disappointed by the number of tacky gift shops and smelly canals.

the afternoon wind every afternoon the wind blows up from the southen end of the lake up to the north where Riva is situated.From the middle of september the temperature drops quite a lot and although it is still sunny and wam the breeze is quite chilly between 1 and 4pm around the lake.It is best to do the lovely walks around the lake in the mornings.
