I stayed with my girlfriend at the Hotel La Bussola for one week and I cannot say anything but that I have been overwhelmed by the experience. The hotel represents the quintessence of Italian hospitality and the relation between the quality of the services and the prices is outstanding. One has to try in order to believe it. The exquisite service, superb cuisine, additional services (free wireless internet, tv, air conditioning, swimming poool, free shuttle for the beach several times a day) and above all a family-like care for the guest makes this hotel absolutely unique. The restaurant of the hotel is absolute outstanding. Me and my girlfriend are serious food lovers and enjoy trying different restaurants when we are on holiday. Nevertheless, the gastronomic experience at the Bussola Hotel is such that one ends up in staying in every night! The hotel value is absolutely mind blowing, the Bed and Breakfast in low season costs 26 euros and half-board just 10 euros more! IAnd for that price one could have a great seafood dinner or even better the Calabrian night (once a week), a multi-course feast during which the best regional specialties are served. I said, these are only very minor drawbacks to the greatest display of hospitality I have ever encountered in my life. Try the Bussola if you visit Tropea, Capo Vaticano and the surroundings and you will keep coming back like I intend to. Fabrizio, Giuseppe, Alessandro and "Manitta", the cook, will become cherished characters in your memory! Thank you very much family Giuliano.
