Although we only spent a couple of nights here, it was a great end to our holiday. Lovely views south over Florence and Fiesole from the garden loungers. Good sized indoor pool. The best of it was definitely the menu, quality of the food, good wine and the service in the restaurant, which was friendly and good natured in a relaxed atmosphere and a cosmopolitan mix of nationalities. The Maitre 'D and head Wine Waiter were a hoot! Breakfast was a bit less civilized as staff tried to satisfy the wide range of expectations. Our room was fairly basic and faced the car park, but who wants to spend much time in a hotel room anyway - it was comfortable enough. Next time in Florence we'll go back - its well worth the short(and rather complicated) drive.
