This place was recommended by a local. It was very clean, quiet, and the owners were very nice. The view was great, and it's close to the town center. I don't remember what we paid, but it was very reasonable (especially in Positano). I'd highly recommend VillaVerde!

Top Local Tips for Positano

Getting around Drive tio get there the coast is amazing, public transport to Positano is shocking, when you get there park the car and walk or use the local circuit bus you can't not have a fantastic time

Know your stop!! The bus driver that drive the SITA buses, the only ones that get you to Positano from Sorrento, will NOT try to help you find your stop, and the bus stops are NOT marked despite the fact that the buses are 95% full of tourists. On our way to Positano, we missed the stop we needed to get off at. There are apparently two stops in Positano, but the bus driver only announced the second one (later we realized that the fact that he announced the stop at all was a miracle). When we got on the bus heading back, I asked the bus driver specifically to tell us when we got to the right stop, but when we got there he didn't say a word!! Leaving Positano an older Spanish couple had the same problem and she asked the bus driver if he announced the stops. He went off (in Italian) about he's not on TV and shouldn't have to announce anything!
