Villa delle Palme Positano gem

Couldn't be happier. Wonderful place, great location, clean rooms with very nice view and great careful hosts. Only 10 minutes walking to the two beaches. Flowers all over.Two family restaurants: Mediterraneo and Saraceno doro; they give you a discount as you stay at the hotel, fresh and tasty food, great service and unexpensive prices. I would suggest it to everyone and will go back as soon as I can.

Very welcoming and friendly

As soon as we walked in the door we (my friend and myself) were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic, very clean and a good size. The location is great, with two fantastic restaurants on the door step and many more within a few minutes walk. The local bus drops you off in close proximity to the hotel and it's easy to get to the beach (if you like stairs!!). Fornillo beach comes highly recommended and a visit to the beach bar "Fernando" should not be missed - have the palma ham with melon, the bruschetta with an ice cold Corona ! Positano is gorgeous and an easy place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. I would highly recommend Villa Delle Palme to anyone in terms of value for money and location, personal service.

Brilliant value- a really special place to stay

We stayed for 5 nights in June 2008. The family that own the hotel are extremely friendly, helpful and speak great English. They helped us plan how to travel to our excursions to Pompeii, Amalfi and getting back to Naples etc. We had room 24. It was simply but tastefully furnished and was clean and comfortable. It has a large terrace overlooking the sea- beautiful. The owners kindly brought our breakfast up to us each morning so that we could eat our croissants and drink our coffee on the terrace. The two restaurants in Positano owned by the same family served good food and had good service. I would recommend this hotel to everyone as long as you are happy with walking. It's at the top of Positano and you have a steep walk down to the beaches and the centre of Positano.

This small family run hotel is amazing. The family gave me suggestions on everything and they made my vacation. The rooms are simple, clean and I felt as at home. I'll go back and send friends. It was great.

Beautiful atmosphere and lots of music

I found out about Hotel Villa delle Palme in the travel channel. I had a wonderful holiday, Mr. Domenico Milo played for us every night while we ate at the "Saraceno D'oro". I have been there three more times and I have sent many friends.
