The owners of this hotel made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. The rooms were large, bright and airy. The servive was excellent and carried out with smiling faces. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners and their staff went out of their way to accomodate my every need. Although there is no sea view the hotel is in the centre of town, close to everything that is going on and after all, the view is there to see whenever you want to walk to any of the nearby vantage points. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Top Local Tips for Positano

Positano secret charm Stay aleast 4 nights and take a private limo from naples.. Bring flat sandals ,If you stay on top of the mountain walk down a different way,you will see something new everytime,,same if you stay on the beach walk up. All the restaurants were good.music on the rocks is a great club.

Napoli-Positano Transfer I would like to share the wonderful experience of travelling to Positano in comfort. This wonderful location is served by Naples airport, but unless you rent a car you have mainly two options: you can ride a taxi to the port and then catch a ferry (in which case you will end up in a discussion over your fare with the driver and start your vacation on a sour note -- then you will wait a few hours for an infrequent ferry ride) or you can book a car transfer service. I was skeptical regarding this second options, but very motivated to have an easy transition between the airport and my hotel by the fact that I was traveling with my husband, mother in law and my disabled daughter. I booked the ride with Positano Transfer (owned by Liberato Cestaro, you will find it easily via google) and could not be any happier. They picked us up at the airport on arrival very sharply, we rode in a nice new minibus with well-working AC (they also have a Mercedes, if you have few suitcases). Our driver spoke good English, drove extremely carefully and was full of advice regarding what to see and do in Positano. We paid 95 euros in total (not bad for four people) and even got our fiscal receipt (not always issued down in Southern Italy). I forgot to mention that they also provided the correct car seat for my daughter's age and weight, as I had requested, for no extra charge. All in all, I find that this is the cheapest and most pleasant option for a smooth transition into vacation mode. We were fully satisfied with the service and would recommend it to anyone. It is a family-run business where good customer service means survival in the face of today's economic recession, and I am happy that we contributed to this deserving company's income!
