I have stayed at Palazzo Mural 3-4 times now and love it. Room # 32 is wonderful. Staff is excellent. Couldn't be better located and dining at the hotel is a wonderful experience.

Hiking with a guide Marvelous hiking in the hills above Positano, either solo or with a guide like Maurizio.

seeing the areas beyond Positano While we found Positano to be the prettiest of the coastal towns, its still worth traveling beyond Positano. if you are planning to see any other towns along the coast - try the ferries by the beach for destinations like Amalfi. The views are spectacular, its inexpensive & relatively fast. Try to see Ravella, a mountain town that can be reached by bus from Amalfi.

Dining, beaches buca di baco was a wonderful restaurant Fornillo beach is much better and less crowded than the main beach. Boat trip to Capri- l'uomo and il Mare down at the marina, September is a wonderful time to travel to Positano
