The Portofino Kulm was our favorite hotel on the entire trip. The grounds were gorgeous with lots of trees and beautiful views. Our room was top quality and the bathroom was a luxury compared to others. We had a car which made transportation to Portofino and S. Margherita easy. If you don't have a car, you may need to look into what the hotel offers. There is a nice indoor pool, very small exercise room, and a sauna that was not working during our stay. Breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel
