Remove the reception and you have a great hotel

The room was more than acceptable the hotel was reasonably located, excellent for the station, breakfast was first class but why the reception staff so un-interested in their guests? why do that job if you have no customer skills? and why the compusion to try to hold on to your passport, its not the old Eastern block we are visiting but the EU. Sort the attitude and we have a great Hotel.

The breakfast was outstanding, a lot of choices. Rooms were average. Front desk was very friendly. Close to the train station. Tower of pisa a good 20 minute walk from hotel.

Top Local Tips for Pisa

Great base to explore Tuscany. Always ask in a bar before buying a drink, Costs vary greatly from 2.50 Euros to 9 Euros for a beer. Look for menu of the day also as these are great value and usually good food.

Tuscan electricity Try & find an adaptor for the euro-style three pin sockets this part of Italy uses before traveling if you intend to use / charge up electrical stuff. Shops selling that sort of stuff are not easily found.

Walk at night After dinner, walk along the Corsa Italia - window shop in the great little shops - and cross the river Arno at the Ponte di Mezzo. The river is spectacular at night and just across the bridge in the Piazza Garibaldi is the best gelato in Italy!
