Alessi Factory Outlet Visit the Alessi factory outlet for great deals on Alessi items.

Poor ferry timetable and busy roads with no pavements Unless you wish to walk in the area and are prepared to seek out the footpaths then the transportation links are not good. The ferries are excellent, but the timetables leave a lot to be desired. One can get a ferry at 0930 to Orta but unless you return at 1130 you cannot get another boat until late afternoon. We believe there are buses, but in two weeks we did not see one! The trains are also erratic.

A hire car will be very useful Definitely a place to have a hire car to make the most of your trip, unless you just want to enjoy the very near bits, ie accessible by ferry from the lake. Not a great deal happening in Pettenasco, a bit more to do in Orta but there are some great walks and restaurants accessible by car if you are that way inclined.
