A very good restaurant As you're saving money on the hotel, spend it in a truly superb restaurant! In Maiori, it is called "Il faro di Capo d'Orso". One Michelin star for a creative cooking style and delicious food, with the best and freshest ingredients. Stunning view and intimate atmosphere.

the local museum in minori, hiking down the mountain from ravello to minori most visitors of minori get so busy exploring the neighboring towns and attractions, that they forget minori has its own museum, that boasts of one of the largest villa in town, excavated and preserved. we were the only tourists visiting this excavation, so the guide gave us a good tour. another suggestion is to take the bus to neighboring ravello, and try hiking down to minori...easier to hike down than to scale the mountain up, especially when its hot. this is not an easy hike, and takes a good 40-45min. use bug spray, and watch out for donkey dungs along the way!
