I made my reservation through my Travel Agency, in Portugal, to stay at the UNA Hotel Cusani, since the 2004.11.05 till the 2004.11.08. I asked and paid a double room, for me and my wife. At the check-in we have been sent to room 415 and, when reached the room, we noticed that it was a rather small room, with a not very wide couple bed, facing to the rear, to other buldings rear.
The room was prepared for a single ocupation, with towels, slipers and bath articles for only one person.
When I called the reception, they only putted there an extra set of towels.
There was no trouser press in the room, as announced on this site. In spite of these non conformities (my opinion), taking in account the price and rate of the hotel, people has been very polite and serviceable.

Last Supper You have to get tickets to the Last Supper three months in advance of your trip. don't be disappointed!

Do you love Gelato? A friend who lives in milano recently told me about Cioccolato, a really great gelateria near Cadorna FS metro station, in the fabulous Magenta area. Indeed, the gelato is really great, beloved by Milanese and frequented by Leo and George Clooney. Also, head over toward Corso Magenta, and there are several great wine bars and cafe's and shops...not touristy but classic Milanese stylish. Be sure to have apero's virtually anywhere. You buy a drink, and they lay out a huge buffet around six pm, and its like a party. There is a really good bar, modern and fun, just opposite Cioccolato. Trendy.

Careful of Taxi fares! If you call a taxi the meter will start running from the time the taxi starts his way to get to you. This means that the meter can already have several Euros above the minimum base fare. If you call make sure you tell the operator at the call centre to not send a cab if the fare to get you is above whatever you're willing to pay extra. As an example I once called a cab and he arrived with a 12€ fare that was already running. Minimum is usually around 3.50€
