Unbelievable valuefrom pina
LOCATION: Its a nice hotel close to Stazione Centrale.
The neighborhood is not the greatest, but isn't
threatening or anything. I walked to the train station
around midnight and didn't find it dangerous. Two main
metro lines meet at Stazione Centrale which gives easy
access to Duomo and shopping areas like MonteNapoleone
ROOM: I stayed at a double bed for single use. It was
quite spacious with good ventilation. I was able to
feel the vibrations of train at the lobby of the hotel,
but my room in the 5th floor was pretty quiet and free of
any vibrations. The hotel and the room has nice
contemporary decor. The room has heated towel racks,
plentiful storage, good lighting, bathrobes and slippers,
hair dryer. The room and bathroom are spacious per
european standards. The small LCD TV screen in bathroom
was cool, but noticeably missing is BBC in the channel
lineup in the room. The hotel has best beds and offer
different kinds of pillows for free.
STAFF: Staff were very friendly and speak decent english.
SERVICES: The room has WiFi high speed wireless internet
access and the service is available from Swisscom Eurospot
for 22 euros from the time you first login until 11am.
I believe there is free internet as well in the lobby.
The fitness center was little disappointing with treadmill
noticeably missing. The fitness center has stationary bicycle,
a bench, free weights upto 10 kilos and a multi-purpose
weight bench. Luggage storage is free if you are going
around town after check-out. The non-availability of laundry
services in weekends was disappointing, but its common in
most Italian hotels.
To SUM UP, the hotel is aptly rated 4 star and lives up
to its star rating. I would stay there next time too - if
I get a good deal again.

Upon first walking up to the hotel, I was a bit concerned...the outside appearance isn't as gleaming as what the website showed, but then looking around at the other buildings, it was the same layer of grime on the windows as everywhere else. Upon walking down into the lobby, I was much relieved. Checking in was not a hassle and the gentlemen behind the desk spoke great English and was quite helpful in answering my wife's questions about shopping and getting around town.
We were able to get the Executive room for only 4 Euros more than the standard, and were quite pleased. The room was modern but not cold, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. I would put it on the smaller side of average size in America and on the larger side for Europe. The bed was large and comfortable with four choices of pillows if requested. The room included a minibar and internet access. The bathroom was as big as in America and large for Europe. Bidet, shower/tub, and 10cm TV included.
We had our included breakfast of pastries, coffee, juice sent to our room for a small service charge.
As we were sitting in the bar, we did notice a bit of train rumble that could be percieved from our 6th floor. NOTHING that kept my wife or me awake. I preferred the easy access to the train station/metro station. We would have no problem staying here again.
Even better value!from neiltsm
An excellent place to stay for a weekend and in my case, to see Scotland play at the San Siro.

The room was excellent with anything you might need, similarly the bathroom was excellent with a wonderful bath and necessary toiletries. There was a range of international TV other than British
The included breakfast was excellent and could be enjoyed in your room for an extra e2.58. This and the room price rated as very good value against 4 other similarly graded hotels I have stayed in here.
Staff, no matter whom, were without exception friendly and helpful.
I drove in the city, travelling elsewhere also, and despite arriving at midnight and 2.30 am respectively there was someone to park my car. The car was returned exactly when I asked it to be. The location was fine for me, indeed a plus for drivers in what could be the worst signposted city in Western Europe, being next to the station. Wouldnt worry too much about people near hotel. Worst thing I saw was 2 female beggars asking for parking money from motorists who had already paid an attendant.
Only 2 negatives, being on the 3rd floor did suffer from, train/tube rumble, on the other hand I never heard another guest whilst I was in my room. This did not stop me sleeping in the excellent bed nor did it wake me.
Room was hot, opening the window let in sealed out noise. In common with many other hotels in Europe Aircon not switched on at this time of year.
Would certainly stay here again.

I have just stayed here for 3 nights. Comfortable bed, stylish interior, good breakfast and professional staff. But don't be put off by the hundreds and hundreds of people that congregate in the park between the railway station and the hotel over the weekends - this is a lovely hotel despite the slightly seedy surroundings.
I was travelling on my own in Italy and felt fine getting to and from this hotel. Just hold on tightly to your belongings!
Wonderful hotel!from gill61uk
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was of a high standard and we also ate in the hotel one evening. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was courteous. Thankfully the price for dinner for two was also pleasing.
The staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't do enough for us but they weren't pushy. The only negative as is mentioned before is that the hotel is not in a great area. Stazione Centrale isn't very nice at night and we couldn't really find any bars/restaurants close by. However, do not let this put you off as the metro is nearby and in a matter of minutes you can be in the lovely Brera neighbourhood sipping a drink and watching the world go by.
