The location of this hotel is the only thing it has going for it. A so-called budget hotel at 100 euros per night and what do you get? A room that would be considered miserable by hostel standards; a disgusting smell from the bathroom which permeates the whole room. Caused, I was told, by changeable weather, harsh, grey towels; dirty shower curtain; hard beds; paper thin walls; and, the last straw, had to pay in cash when I checked out with no prior notice of such. The Lonely Planet says the gruff staff turned into teddy bears if you used Italian, they did not. Probably the worst place I've stayed.
