Top Local Tips for Milan

Last Supper The websites are right when they advise to book 2 months in advance. We did not but paid for an expensive guided tour instead, which ran 9.30-12.30. It included il Duomo, La Scala and the Last Supper. A guided tour, while expensive, can be worth it, ours was and seem to be a sure-fire way of getting an audience with the masterpiece.

Airport transfers Easy to get to/from airport by bus, forget very expensive taxi!
