I have been at the hotel for only two nights, as a part of my Italian tour in October, 2003. The hotel was very comfortable and located few blocks from the city center and other attractions. We were in a group of three couples, and the other's rooms were not as large as mine.
The service, including reservation, was very good.

Love the blinds in the room...they don't let in any light even during the day.

This hotel is well located near the central station of Milan. The surroundings are pleasant to look at and nice to walk around in. The staff is helpful and nice.

Overpriced, Aggressively Unfriendly Hotel.

Ridiculously overpriced (€350 per night)
Unfriendly, unhelpful, aggressive, sarcastic staff.
Small, dingy, poorly equipped, badly lit rooms.
No room heating after 11pm. No extra blankets either.
Continual and noisy exterior building work.
Tiny lift always blocked.
Plus side: Good buffet breakfast. However, they throw you out 30 seconds after 10 AM.
Do not go to this hotel.

Top Local Tips for Milan

Milan with kids Definitley a climb up the Duomo,visit to San Siro,Nat History Museum, Trotters,a trip on the trams. We were disappointed with the Da Vinci Museum as it was mostly aimed at schools not the general public.

San Siro Get the metro from central station for 1 euro to closest stop to san siro. a 10 minute walk gets you to stadium. Museum and guided tour is 12.50euro and is a must for any football fan

Arriving at Bergamo aiport Once outside of Bergamo airport there is a bus waiting 7 Euros single which takes approx 1 hour via the motorway network, so allow extra time for busy periods. The journey is very pleasant it drops you outside Milan Central Station, from there transport is easy, by tram, train, bus or metro. It is easy to buy a train ticket you will find all the platforms on the same level and very resonalby priced compared to UK trains with easy to read timetables. The Metro (undergound) per trip as long as you stay underground is 1 Euro. We were amazed at how simple and easy it is to get around.
