Calypso Hotel is wonderful. The staff are friendly and crack lots of jokes. The breakfast is delicious and it's so cheap. Also, it's in a really central part of Milan.

Worst hostel experience I've ever had

Upon arrival, the staff were rude. They wouldn't allow me to have a friend who I hadn't seen for one year come into my room even for half an hour. when I tried to discuss it with them, the lady who runs the place completely lost the plot and started yelling at me in Italian and eventually started physically abusing me! My friends and I left promptly but were disgusted to find out that they still charged us for the stay. This place should be closed down in my opinion.
