Character, kindness and comfort -- Hotel brasil is a blast in the heart of milano. Good location right near the stazione centrale, free city maps and reccommendations, free internet (for more that 30 minutes if you ask nicely) and great staff!! Good for solo female travelers. I definitely plan on staying here again next time.

Milan does not offer much but lakes does. Lake como near by is worth to visit. You can go there by train from Milan Centrale to Ravenna. Take a bout to Bellagio for examble

Duomo & Last Supper I highly recommend going to see the Last Supper exhibition, and the Duomo is a must.
