Great Modern Hotel

from ChicagoTraveler06
Check out the hotels website, where you can get a first glance at this beautiful modern hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is not in walking distance to any of the city’s main attractions nor any restaurants, but there is a tram right outside the hotel which takes approx. 15 – 20 minutes to get to all of the local attractions (TIP: purchase tram ticket at the newsstand right next to the hotel, you can’t purchase a ticket on the tram). Cabs are also hard to come by and if the hotel calls one for you, you are charged from the time the cab is called to the time it drops you off… not to mention the automatic 6.20 euros automatically charged for every cab ride after 6 p.m. Aside from the location, this is really a great hotel.

Very modern hotel

from lanaia28
Very nice modern hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very chic and bathroom was nice and spacious. The hotel has 2 bars and a restaurant. The food was moderate, wouldn't recommend eating dinner in hotel. The hotel however isn't near many restaurants or attractions so plan on having to commute 15 minutes to find main attractions and good restaurants.

Great Hotel And Service

from mooknice06
We spent one night in Milan and wanted a trendy place in the city.
The enterprise is marvelous; service is very good, nice and thoughtfull, the lobby, the bar, the small courtyard garden and really nice decorated. The room is very fonctional exactly like the rooms in the website and the most important very clean. The buffet breakfast was somptuous.

The hotel is a little bit outside the real city center but it doesn't really matter the tramway n°1 and 19 are going to the center. The walk is also very nice from the center by the sforza castle park. The concierge will give good directions for evening dinner like in the district of navigli very lively at evening. The rate was very interesting 119€ for a double, breakfast and parking included (another good value, they have their own parking)

Good Hotel, Terrible Location

from Melibi
The Enterprise hotel is a hip hotel with large rooms and great bathrooms. The front desk staff can be friendly and they have a parking garage on site. We ordered room service which arrived quickly and was decent. The major flaw with this hotel is that it is a 45 minute walk to the Duomo and shopping. Milan is an awful, depressing city filled with grumpy, rude Italians. Other than shopping and seeing the famed Last Supper and the Duomo there is nothing to do. If you have to see Milan, stay here one night and then move on to Como.

Super Hip Hotel!

from dgold
We stayed in the enterprise for a one night stopover in Milan enroute to Como. The hotel was very clean and modern. Great design and the included breakfast was excellent. It is far out from the city center, but was easy to get to with the trolly. The staff was friendly, helpful and didn't mind our poor Italian and happily spoke English. The Pizza place around the corner they reccomended was great. We brought our 2 children and although it was a bit too upscale for kids no one seemed to mind. All in all a very good choice if you don't mind the commute to the center of town.

Good Food

from KWhols
We stayed here 1 night to have a quick explore of Milan whilst on holiday in Italy. The hotel was good and the food in the restaurant was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The room was very small but it was fine for 1 night. The down side was that it was a good 40 minute walk from the main shops etc, so a little too far out for us. Also, if you use their underground car park make sure the car is completely clean of food as the ants seem to like this place too!!!

All in all a good hotel for a short stay.

Splendid design, and generally fine. But ...

from A TripAdvisor Member
I am very much into design, and since the opportunity for an OK rate turned up, I booked an Executive room.

The overalle design of the hotel is very attractive - at least to me. Since this is not some sort of romantic Italian cosy hotel however, you should check the pictures before booking.

The room was fine but for a couple of things: I must be able to work at a desk during my stays, and unfortunately an armchair was ment to serve as a desk chair - it was way too low and by the end of the week I had a somewhat sore mouse arm. Room for clothes is somewhat sparse. Only two small drawers - with only a front and no sides. I was very happy that the misses didn't go too...

The room description on the hotels website wasn't quite met. No coffee brewer, no slippers, bath robe, newspaper etc. Lesser things, and I didn't complain about it.

Internet access thru ADSL was perfect. Only a few slips during the week, speed was fine and the rate at EUR 15 per 24 hrs not too bad.

Bathroom was close to perfect, incl. water supply.

Breakfast was absolutely wonderfull. An abundance of selections, which would suit any taste, I beliive.

The staff was generally professional, close to being somewhat distant. No family feelings or heartily greetings here.

The location close to Piazza Firenze was fine with me. Not spon-on in the center. But trams and busses running all the time to/from the center incl. the Duomo.

Plenty of good restaurants around, from a very busy pizzeria just down the Corso over some nearby Trentino Trattoria to the hotels own very good restaurant.

A couple of supermarkets within a few minutes of walking.

Nearby Piazza Firence offers a few spots for relaxing in the sun, but of course one would rather go/walk/run or take the tram/bus to the Great Parc Sforzesco. This would also be the place to go for a jogging run since the uneven pavements and the somewhat polluted air in the strees aren't exactly inviting...

Recommended, but beware of week-end pricing. Prices may triple at weekends or holidays. Somewhat opposite some other fine Milano-hotels.

Excellent Food in the Restaurant

from R1
Stayed in this hotel for two nights while on Business. The bedroom and bathroom are quite good in this hotel. For me though, what stands out is the quality of the food in the Sophie Restaurant, both at Breakfast and Dinner. The buffet breakfast is endless with it's choice of food and the dinner menu, not a huge selection (especially if you intend on eating there for more than a few nights in a row) but absolutely superb. I asked for some fruit for my sweet one evening and was served a dinner plate size of 16 different fruits, beautifully presented and tasting gorgeous. For me the only downside was the location in relation to the city centre, especially if you fancy a wander around the shops. Other than that, I would recommend staying here.

Great Service Spectacular Design

from tripjohn
I loved this hotel.
I stayed here two weeks ago for the first time and it has been an outstanding experience.
The design is refined, modern and it creates a great atmosphere.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful while the breakfast was simply exquisite.

I was in Milan for business and I've enjoyed my stay so much that I'm planning to go back on a leisure trip. The hotel location is in fact perfect for both the Milan exhibition centre and the town turist attractions.

Perfect Stay

Great club close to the hotel 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel you´ll find the Gattopardo Cafe. In my opinion one of the hottest nightlife spots in Milan!

Lovely Restaurant Dine at the Four Seasons Hotel restaurant and ask for a table by the windows near the cloister.
