Situated in the centre of Mestre and close to restaurants, rail station and Venice, this pleasant and well maintained Hotel hit the right mark for our cycling holiday. Helpful reception staff and one of the better breakfasts of our 7 day cycle ride, we would be happy to go back again.

Top Local Tips for Mestre

Travelling via Treviso Airport When leaving for home arrive at Treviso Airport early. The departure area is very small for the traffic volume using it. As the airport is used by Ryanair and Transavia, budget airlines with fast no nonsense turnaround times for aircraft, you have to move quickly when your flight is called. With no seat allocation its best to be at the head of the line, so be early. Get the airport bus for the flight prior to the one recommended for yours.

Buses from Venice back to Mestre. If you're coming back to your hotel from a day out in Venice by bus, you'll probably be getting the number 7 to Mirano. Make absolutely sure you get the number 7, and not do as my friends and I did on our last night and get on a bus which just said it was for Mirano, as this did not stop in Mestre! Thankfully, the driver was very kind and told us how to make our way back, but it was quite worrying for a while.

Nightlife is really poor Nightlife is really poor not only in Mestre but also in Venice and Milan. So it is mostly for a quiet vacation that you should go there with really beautiful things to see and visit.
