Finding your hotel I would highly recommend you get a close up map of any hotel you are staying at. Booking.com has some really good maps if you are looking at any of their hotels, otherwise goggle maps is pretty good if you have the street address.

Look for flights to Birgi Airport Most tourists fly to Palermo Airport and then drive down to Marsala. However OneAir flies from Rome to Birgi Airport, which is a 10 minute drive to Resort Baglio Oneto.

Watch the drivers We felt that there was not a great deal to see in Marsala and decent restaurants are very hard to come by there. Watch the Sicilian drivers on the way there as they have very little regard for other road users!
