No lifts, basic rooms, clean linen but stained and old carpeting and furniture. Poor breakfast, broken toaster. Very limited food selection. Helpful staff but surly management.
Extremely poor impression overall.

Nightclubs I dont think there are any nightclubs for all you clubbers

where to sit try to sit near the entrance to bars/pizzerias etc, anywhere with outside seating uses a waiter service. Most places have only 2 or 3 waiting staff so getting their attention isn't always easy when it comes to either ordering more or paying the bill. Even if you are just having a drink or two, consider it like having a meal at a restaurant at home, you order, you drink/snack, you ask for the bill- each 'event' will take several minutes, easy enough once you realise how they operate though, and absolutely do try and speak the language- most waiters will speak enough english for you not to need to speak Italian- but it does help them remember you next time you want attention- it only requires a handy pocket phrase book
