Small hotel run by a lovely family (the Monaci's). Central location, great for the town, for buses, boats, bars, restaurants (although the hotel has a good bar and small restaurant. Small basic rooms with no air conditioning , but kept very clean. Good value for money and the hotel organised an airport pick-up.

Top Local Tips for Malcesine

Buses and boats The bus is cheaper and faster than the ferries but you can buy a one day pass for the ferry allowing you to get on and off at the many lakeside villages

ferries use them! absolutely best way to see this beautiful lake and lakeside towns/villages. why wast time on a coach?!

Good value restaurants Staty with the basic breakfast and its 2 monutes into town and a lovely cafe society with very reasonably proiced food.
