The accomodation was fairly basic and rather noisy at night. The food was even more basic and not what we expected for Italian cuisine.
Wonderful place to stay

This hotel should score 10/10 for its cleanliness, and friendly staff. As halfboard was included in our holiday package we were disappointed in the evening meal, too English, should have been more Italian. But we did try their other restuarant which was open to the public, and here we had a very good Italian meal with superb wine. The breakfasts were Continental and consisted of orange juice, ham and cheese, rolls, toast, a selection of jams and tea or coffee. For a Continental breakfast this was good (some hotels on the Continent will only serve bread rolls, jam tea and coffee). There was also plenty of other restaurants to choose from for lunches and evening meals all very well priced and good value. The whole town is beautiful. We travelled with Italian Getaways whose staff were also very good during the excursions we ventured on, very informative on the area and the different locations visited.A trip we will certainly do again next year.

Very clean and well kept hotel. Staff very friendly, rooms cleaned to a high standard.
Hotel is in an excellent location, not in the centre of the village but only a very short walk away. Rooms on the main road side of the hotel very noisy. Food only adequate, don't bother upgrading, there are so many restuarants in Malcesine offering great menus at reasonable prices, evening meals at hotel were very poor.

Hotel clean and staff pleasant. Don't upgrade to full board. Evening meal unadventurous. Plenty of places for dinner. Corner bedroom very large but noisy outside. Would look stay in a quieter position in future.
Many times in

I have been many times at the Dolomiti Hotel, Friendly and in the center of the village!
Food? You get what you pay (8 Euros outside will be three times more!) You can choose B/B if you want!!
Remember it is a two star hotel even if it seems to be a three star! You will not find a better one at this price.

friendly staff, comfortable rooms, convenient location, unless you were on the front corner, in which case very noisy at nights. Food adequate, but no frills, which is a shame as it spoils the overall experience, however, for the price, good value. Thanks for a great holiday
Food is very disappointing

We stayed at the Dolomiti for a week. The hotel is in a great position in Malcesine and is clean, and the rooms are fairly basic but bathrooms good. Extra is charged for the TV ,air conditioning and safe. There is was no radio in the room.
Sadly the food lets the whole hotel down. The buffet breakfast consists of cheap cornflakes and meusli, toast and jam, dry bread rolls, tasteless ham and cheese and watered down orange juice, tea bag and hot water and coffee. You can pay extra for eggs, bacon etc.
The evening meal is a set meal(no choice)of a pasta dish usual with tomato, or soup, followed by a meat dish of varying quality, in fact we had sausages in tomato sauce one evening, and is accompanied by potato of some sort usually boiled and one vegetable. Desserts are a variation of cold custard or tinned fruit salad or peaches. It all reminded us of school dinners! We were very disappointed as were many of the others in the dining room and it all became a bit of a joke, but spoilt the holiday.

Hotel Dolomiti Malcesine is situated in the historical centre of the village. It has recently been restored with lift, parking, solarium, terrace, bar, and ala carte restaurant. Most rooms with balcony, telephone, radio fm, sat TV, hair drier, and air conditioning. All rooms en suite. A very clean and tidy friendly b/b. we can highly recommend it, and will be going back there again in September. It must be the only place in the world where there are no mozzies. Lake Garda is also a beautiful area to spend a holiday. Please everybody feel free to contact us if you require any further info.
