A warm friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent clean rooms. Elevator. Breakfast a delight. Top floor a spectacular view of Maiori Harbor. Parking no problem. Bus service at curb. Delightful shops in town. Centrally located on the Amalfi Coast.

Speaking Italian is helpful Maiori is not frequented by American tourists, so speaking a bit of Italian is helpful.

crowded beach beach is very crowded end of june/july and august , avoid high tourist season

Day out Our best day out was to drive to Amalfi (30mins) then get a ferry to Positano - about 25 mins each way and 12 Euros each return. The coast is best seen from the sea!
