What a gem!!

Wonderful hotel, great location, brilliant staff. The Villa Pandora has a truly unique atmosphere, one of understated luxury. It has a truly unique location, between the lemon groves high over the Bay of Salerno with a 180° view between the cliffs across the azure blue sea. It's 10 room (with air conditioning) capacity is a positive advantage to the more discerning traveller & although there is no restaurant on site (but a great breakfast is served between 8 & 11 am), there is one just a short walk away with a special deal for guests of the Villa Pandora. The clean, well maintained swimming pool is on the roof & a great refuge from the heat of the day. The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly & helpful, from parking your car to arranging travel - nothing is too much trouble & one is left in no doubt that this friendliness is absolutely genuine (not affected for the tourists). To be honest I really cannot find fault with the whole experience and we left with a big box of lemons from the hotel's grove and a little tear in our eyes!! We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
