Having stayed in other hotels in Jesolo over the last few years this was our first time at this hotel and we were extremely happy with the service. The rooms were superb and the staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I played the new Jesolo golf course and the hotel kindly delivered my clubs to and from the course for me free of charge. I would reccomend this hotel to anybody as the food is superb along with the service, location and friendliness of the staff.

Top Local Tips for Lido Di Jesolo

Getting to Venice The first trip we made to Venice was via the route which everyone recommends - a bus to Punta Sabbioni then a ferry across the lagoon. We arrived in one piece but the trip was far from comfortable - think 'cattle truck'!!! The second trip we made was with Azzura. We saw the route advertised on the main street in Lido de Jesolo, and made a few enquries in one of the many excursion agents. The price of the trip was the same as the other method, and you could either buy tickets in advance, or on the bus on the day of travel. In comparison to the other trip, this was sheer luxury!! A bus collects passengers from several designated stops on the 'high street', and transports you to the port at the lighthouse. From here, a 'pleasure cruiser' takes you across the lagoon to San Marco. The boat leaves at 5pm to return to Lido de Jesolo.

When it rains ! it pours ! Bring an umbrealla, rain will be sudden heavy showers but clear quickly, so an umbrella is very handy ! If your an independent traveller there isn't a lot of information displayed, but do ask the receptionist and they will give you all the information you need !

going into venice ask at the hotel and they will provide you with a bus timetable - its easy to follow, just get on the bus then on the boat when the bus stops and you're in venice - beautiful and definitely worth a visit - although watch out for the prices!!!
