We found the hotel room to be small dated and very basic, no air con, fridge or fans in the room, they suggested we could buy a fan from a local shop for 18 euros, me thinks in a sarcastic way.
However, we found the room and hotel to be very clean, the cleaning staff are excellent.
Breakfast was very poor, and breakfast food like cerials were of very poor quality.
The majority of evening meals were quite nice, but portions small.
The waiting staff were very pleasent, and always had a smile for you.
The manager, although quite pleasent at times,didnt have a friendly way about him, sometimes it felt like extracting teeth when we asked a question.
The manageress tried her best to be nice and friendly, but obviously they are still having trouble comunicating with the british, but hopefully over the years it will improve.
We feel that the hotel is not as suitable for the british visitors as for other nations.
We found that overall, the italian shops, cafes and restaurants didnt seem to gell as much with the british as with the other foreign tourists.
I think they need to be a bit more friendlier all round, if they want more visitors from the UK.

I just feel that there could have been a bit more effort from the hotel management to make our stay more pleasurable.
It would have been nice for the management to have said goodbye to all the british tourists as we were leaving, or even have said, hope you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again etc, but I got the impression, that they were glad to see the back of us all.

But at the end of the day it was a last minute deal as such, and you get what you pay for, but I would never go back to either the hotel or the resort.

Best deals Jesolo is popular with Italians and they swamp the place in August - prices are therefore high - so book out of season and have a relaxed holiday. Take a passagatta every evening down the main road.
