This has to be by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was filthy, the food was awful and the staff were rude. Complained to Airtours on my return and was given 50% of my accommodation costs back. Hardly compensation for the appalling week we spent there.

What can I say about the service in the heron hotel Jesolo? Basically there was none!!!! On arrival we were allocated a table in their "canteen" dining room, next night no table available even though we'd been assured our table allocation wouldn't change. During the week it became increasingly difficult to get any service. Meals came as infrequently as London buses or everything arrived at once, often they were cold. We complained to the dining room manager he didn't want to know. Staff were rude untrained and ignored any request made. Would I go back to Jesolo - YES -would I go back to the Heron -NO!!!!
