Top Local Tips for La Thuile

Ski Hire / Lift Passes / Lessons We saved about Eu 50 by not hiring skis from the rep via Berthod sports and hiring them ourselves from Only Ski - find them on the web, print out their internet 10% offer and save yourself even more! They also have a shop at Les Suches on the mountain which is handy if like us you have boot problems and need to change them on the hill. We did get lift passes from the rep as these were cheaper than buying locally given the exchange rate. The ski school has stopped doing 6 day lesson packs so that instructors are free for their local clients on Saturdays - shame. Again - cheaper via the rep than buying locally this year.

Authentic Italian Butcher Head to the butchers shop in the Planibel complex for some wonderful local meat / cheese / bread & wine - and experience friendly service with Italian flair.
