Top Local Tips for Ischia

Taxi vs. Bus Never take taxi's in Ischia or Capri. It's a complete waste of money even from the ferry/dock. On both islands, it is possible to travel by bus almost as quickly at a fraction of the cost. The bus rides are quick, efficient, frequent, and actually fun.

Negombe Spa This gorgeous spa has 12 pools - each with a different "theme" (chinese maze, hamaam, pools of every temperature, etc). AND it has a beautiful private beach.

BE CAREFUL while riding public buses My husband and I bought a one day pass for the bus, which we mistakingly thought was good for 24 hours. It was not. It was good from 6am to 6am. As a result we were fined while riding the bus.
