Impossible to cancel

After ringing this hotel twice well within the 10 days limit to cancellation, the hotel didn't cancel my confirmation and charged my card £500, no compromise, no apology, no absolutely no refund. Visa doesn't cover disputes abroad. Obviously their research isn't too hot either or they wouldn't have asked me for a recommendation. BEWARE.
