Cost to Greve The guides etc tell you its going to be over a hundred Euros, they probably dont get many taxis it worked out just under 60 euros from Florence. the bus is cheap and scenic views surround but the last one leaves Florence around 6pm! so don't get caught out!
Go to the restaurant in Montefioralli! There are two truly great restaurants in Greve, the Bottega del Moro at the other side of the church is fabulous but for a magical dining experience ask either David or Francesco on the desk to reserve you an outside table at the Castello di Montefioralli restaurent just outside town. You will never forget the views of the vineyards and the olive groves as you eat during sunset. You will need a taxi to get up as the climb is very steep but don't be afraid to walk back as the views on the way down are beautiful and the walk will do you good! (there is a short cut to get back to the square). For good value food with great service go to the Cantina restaurant where Allessandro and his people will really make you feel special
Bus to Firenze There is a bus to Firenze that runs regularly and saves hassles with traffic and parking. cheap too.
