Mc Arthur Glen Outlet Store If you are staying in Genoa and if you are a shopaholic then a trip here is a definite must. It is located about one hour from Genoa and has an excellent range of shops with international brands. Take the train from Genova Principe to Arquata Scrivia and then take a bus to the outlet in Serravalle.

Italian trains Have very poor signage. There is no announcement of the upcoming station nor are the signs prevalent to see which station is being stopped at. Map it out before going. Also, Geneva to Milan train is notoriously late - so allow at least 2 hours between connecting - or consider driving.
