The hotel is in the center of Genoa, across the street from the beautiful university. Great location, between the main train station Genoa Principe and the harbour. But that's where the best part ends. Because when you enter the ghetto-ish gates of the hotel you get chills. I went to the hotel desperate because I couldn't find any place to stay the week-end I was in Genoa, some festival was going on. The rooms are humid, but not very dirty. Try to pay more money and take a room with its own toilet, because the one down the hall is just horrible. But the hotel is just what you need if your budget is as tiny as mine was at the time.
