| Superb location |

The location of Garda on Lake Garda for `first timers` is superb. Booked this holiday fairly late with Crystals, very good service. Hotel is a 10 minutes walk to the centre, but its uphill back. Do not take the main road down to the lakeside, take the other route. About the Hotel, staff is excellent, service superb, food even better. Pool was always clean, but its NOT for non swimmers, there is no shallow end! Drawbacks not really, visually the Hotel is not pretty, and the rooms do need to be updated a bit, even though they are cleaned thoroughly every day. As a base for a holiday in Garda, providing your fairly fit, you should enjoy it as much as we did. |

Firstly the views from this place are great!So its a great location. Its an easy enough walk to the town of Garda (takes around 10 minutes). And the complex has a great sized pool and eating facilities. The food was the best it was 4 courses everyday for your tea!!And a wide variety for your breakfast. The rooms could have been updated from the 70s decor but they were adequate enough-and had a balcony either straight off to the pool or overlooking great scenery. I personally loved my holiday there and really didnt want to come back home to gloomy England in comparison. |
