Sstayed there three times now. Unbeatable for location, friendliness, food and cleanliness. absolutely spotless, friendly, helpful staff a nice pool and outside area. literally minutes from garda's lovely centre. Smallish, but adequate rooms which are sparkling clean with balcony. Good daily choice of food at breakfast and dinner and weekly gala evening with sumptuous buffet served poolside with live music!

Have just returned from a stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but very clean and beds comfortable. Air con. and heating was noisy but after the first couple of nights we got used to it. There was a good selection for breakfast but dinners had very little for vegetarians and we were offered a plate of cheese or omelette most nights which was disapointing as we had asked for vegetarian meals when booking, but if you eat meat, meals seemed to be good.

This hotel has superb facilities and an excellent location. The food is mouthwatering and the waiting staff very polite and good humoured. Our room was spotless and roomy. Every member of the staff at the hotel had a smile on their face and a greeting. This has to be one of the best hotels that I have visited on the lake and I would recommend it to anyone.

Having just spent 7 nights at the Imperial Hotel - We have to say that everything about the hotel was excellent. The rooms were well furnished and spotlessly clean, the food and waiting staff were excellent and the Gala Night was a superb evening of food and entertainment. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very well situated a few mins walk from the promenade area in garden with a super pool and terrace area. The rooms are clean and spacious I was in 316! With small balconies too. The breakfast is buffet style but good choice and the evening meals are very nice. A good clean friendly hotel that is well worth a visit and great value.

Spotlessly clean and friendly staff

We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. The room was basic but tastefully done and a good size - the bathroom in particular was very spacious. I would have given this hotel a higher mark if the food had been better.

Suitability for wheelchair users.

The staff were excellent but the proprietors were aloof and unfriendly towards the British guests. This hotel is definitely NOT suitable for anyone with a disability. Wheelchair access to the lift is impossible unless foot-rests are removed. No ramp into the dining room. No bedrooms on ground floor and the doors are not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair without difficulty - no means of holding the door ajar provided. Food mundane. Although the weather was hot end of Sept /early Oct we were advised that the Air conditioning was not available. It was extremely noisy from the road so it was not appropriate to have the balcony doors open at night.

Good value for money

We visited this hotel with our 18 year old son and found the staff very friendly and polite. The food was mostly good with 3 choices but my son son didn't enjoy breakfast. Really needs air con in all rooms and dining room and we were really hot and uncomfortable when temperature hit high 30s. The pool was too deep for me but sunbathing area and gardens very good. Convenient for lake, bus station and ferry stop. Room was ok but pillows much too hard. My son's single room was very pleasant and spacious. Good value for money. I would come here again.

Generally we have enjoyed the two visits to this hotel. Rooms basic and air con is only in the pool view rooms. The worst of this hotel is the meals, agian they are basic with very limited choice (two). They have a very good gala evening.
