save We found if you ordered your tickets in Italian and were polite, you paid less than those ordering in loud English.

Buses Use local buses to get around (even Verona). They are very cheap.

Paying for tickets Buses are really easy to use to get around the lake and to other places such as Verona. You can buy a single ticket from the bus driver but this is more expensive than using the ticket machine or asking for a ticket at the bus station, if there is one near by. The ticket machines give you ticket information in english, italian and german and are simple to use. At Peschiera the ticket machine is inside the railway station not at the station bus stop.
