| Fantastic hotel and location - will definitely return!! |
|
This is a wonderful hotel. Should be more than 3 star. Small and personal yet with a big professional hotel feel. Staff very friendly. Service professional. Guests of all age groups and nationalities = lovely variety.Fantastic breakfast buffet. Rooms modern and spacious. We had cot for our 2 year old and still lots of space. All rooms look onto pool. Quiet at night for sitting on balcony but town centre just 4 minutes walk. Will definitely return. |

| Great location and service |

This hotel should rate more than a 3 star. We have stayed here twice and have just returned. Met a couple of have been 11 years in a row - that says it all!! The rooms are more than sufficient with a lovely spacious bathroom - all well equipped. Very peaceful location (no traffic noise) just the sound of the birds in the trees singing during the day. Only a 3 minute walk to town centre and 5 minutes to ferry. Great pool - I can't swim but because of the lovely steps down into the pool and just gentle shelving I felt perfectly safe! Good food - only a choice of three things for each course but it was all wonderful. The best breakfast you could ever have - everything from bacon and scrambled eggs to all kings of bread, muesli, yoghurt, cereal, fruit - the lot. Waiting staff so friendly you feel like giving them a hug when you leave. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I certainly recommend Garda as opposed to any other town as it is so central to get to Venice and the Dolo... Read more |

| Lovely - we'll be back! |

I never know what to expect when I book a hotel purely from a brochure review, as I know they can (at times) be a little adventurous with the description. However, I was not disappointed at all with the Continental. I was travelling with my 8 year old son, and we were allocated a room with a terrace out on to the pool. My son was delighted and I'd definitely opt for this room again as opposed to one with a balcony. The door opened onto the small terrace (small table & two chairs provided!), then a quick walk across the grass and you were poolside. No wandering up and down corridors in a soggy swimsuit, which can only be a good thing. Whilst the rooms were basic by some standards, they were perfectly comfortable and very clean - and really, I'm not looking for more than that when I'm in such a lovely location as the room is used purely for washing/changing/sleeping. We had two single beds, which seemed to be slightly narrower than we have at home - well, there must be *so... Read more |
