Hotel Pendini was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly. Everything very clean. Nice breakfast room and lounge bar. Great location and good prices. I strongly recommend it. Will be back next time.

The Best Hotel in the Heart of Florence

Located in the very heart of the city of Florence is the beautiful Pensione Pendini. I had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful property for 4 weeks while I was studying at the Florida State University study center about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. First of all, its location is perfect! It is walking distance to all the major attractions and landmarks in the city, as well as the Santa Maria Novella train station and the famous Duomo. There are fabulous restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias in the area as well as world renowned boutiques and clothing stores. The staff at the Pendini, is warm, welcoming and always ready to assist you with anything that you may need help with. I remember them helping me with mailing some letters to my family back home and also helping me find a farmacia in the area when I wasn't feeling so well. Since they are family owned, they treat you as if you too are part of their family. They definitely make you feel as if you never want to leave at all. The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable, classical furniture with soft colors of blue and yellow. The walkways within the hotel are royal and elegant. The breafast room is bright, cheerful and filled with the aroma of freshly baked breads and rolls. This room also has wonderful views of the historical streets of Florence below. If you are lucky enough to get one of the rooms above the elegant restaurant below the Pendini, you will surely enjoy the soothing music that plays in the evenings. It is an experience that is not likely to be forgotten. I would recommend this hotel to anyone because of its location, history, family friendly atmosphere, and elegant atmosphere. I know that I will return again very soon.
