Good value, good hotel

I arrived at night and it was raining, so it was a little tricky for me to find. All you have to do is make the very easy walk from the train station to the Duomo and look for the number, but there isn't a big sign. So find the number above the door and the hotel name is on a small plaque by the doorbell. It is up on the 4th floor, so you have a very nice view of the Duomo from the lobby and restaurant. I had a nice , clean room (very little floor space around the bed, but enough) with a comfortable queen size bed and small patio with a view of the Duomo. The bathroom was great and clean, but the shower is a little small. Most showers w/o bathtub in Europe are small , so it's to be expected. The air conditioning worked well. The staff was great. They gave a map and advice on where to go and how to get there. As a single female traveler, I flet very secure there. The breakfast was included (which is a nice change). It was a very basic breakfast, but it was good and was served for a few hours, so I could sleep in a bit. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to all the main attractions. Wait to climb the Duomo in the evening before they close and no one will be there. I got the room for 100 euro a night, and I feel like it was a really great deal. I would stay here again.
