Top Local Tips for Florence

Don't Miss Santa Croce This was an amazing experience . Be sure to get the audio guide, you can get it for 3 attractions, i.e, Dumo, Bapistry and Sante Croce. There are other to choose from as well. It really made the entire experience more meaningful. Also the climb to the top of the Dumo is not for the faint hearted, but absolutely worthwile. The views are incredible, especially if you have been roaming around the city for a few days it is fun to pick out where you have been. Don't miss Piazzelle di Michaelangelo on the left bank. Take the 12 or 13 Bus bring a picnic lunch and relax there awhile as you enjoy the city and the Tuscan hills in the distance. Beauty abounds!

Good food Cafe oppisite the train station great for a large range of tasty pasta.

city bus tour Jump on the city tour bus buy the ticket from reception and it is valid for a full 24 hours from when issed. This gives you a good chance to find your way around Florence.
