VolaInBus Don't use the taxi, they tend to be overpriced. For €4 you get a bus to and from airport to the main station.

Uffizi Gallery If you haven't pre-booked your tickets, go in the mid-late afternoon. We went at about 3:30, and waited under an hour to get in.

August Dont go in august! Very crowded with tourists, some shops are closed because the locals are on holiday, and the weather is extremely hot (about 38C when we were there.)
