As soon as we walked in the door we (my friend and myself) were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic, very clean and a good size. The location is great, with two fantastic restaurants on the door step and many more within a few minutes walk. The local bus drops you off in close proximity to the hotel and it's easy to get to the beach (if you like stairs!!). Fornillo beach comes highly recommended and a visit to the beach bar "Fernando" should not be missed - have the palma ham with melon, the bruschetta with an ice cold Corona ! Positano is gorgeous and an easy place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. I would highly recommend Villa Delle Palme to anyone in terms of value for money and location, personal service. |

The stay was absolutely superb, that is after the first night. Room 62 is grand, but make sure room you do not get room 3. From the spacious balcony the beach, fireworks, beachcombers are all available. The staff are all most sincere. Annushka is a sweet, and very caring woman who runs the hotel. You will also meet Paula if you eat there a couple of times. She is a joy to work with as well. I wish to return again someday. |
