I stayed here on Saturday 30th July, while touring with my husband, finding myself stranded there, the Frebus tunnel being closed. The hotel cost around 45 euros for bed and breakfast. The hotel is very authentically presented and is scrupulously clean. It would rate a three star at least in Britain. The owner is somewhat eccentric (you must wait till he rings the bell before entering the dining room for meals) However the food is good and nicely presented.Family rooms are available.The whole town is being renovated for the games. Good value hotel, but the village itself( which will host some of the events of the Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games) is small and quite unattractive for the area. Surrounding villages,like Bardonecchia, have equally as nice hotels and are more picturesque to visit.
